Just a random post to get some amusing links off my chest/desktop:
Where the hell is Matt? dancing vid. It's a video of a guy who dances in random places with random people - rather neat idea and vaguely artistic. I picked this up from the Bad Astronomer, who apparently had the same reaction I did to the bit around 3:53.
I've never seen Lucky Star or know anything about it besides the name, but being familiar with the tropes of high school comedy animes is enough to make this Decepticon parody funny. And disturbing. Of course, the remixed versions are equally awesome.
Big Dog robotics. Five years from now I will look back at the amazement I had watching this video and laugh, but it's still pretty interesting.
I want one of these.
SketchQuake. Because playing with renderers is fun!
In the same vein is Pencil Whipped, a sort of Doom mod.
And finally:
Why NASCAR just isn't that interesting.
