(no subject)
Tomorrow's Friday, yay!
This week has.. been okay I guess.
Monday night at clinical, I had a little bit of a tough time with one of my patients who just cries all the time and didn't want me to do anything that involved getting her clean. The other one I didn't bother much all night because I was so busy with the first patient. Next week, I have my first male patient who last week refused to get HS care so.. it'll be interesting.
Tuesday I hung around in the band room helping with 5th/6th grade band. After school we had musical practice until 6ish. I went home, wrote a couple papers, did some homework, and studied. I had the senior pictures that Harrison took that I went ahead and brought to school because I knew people at musical practice had seen them and people would want them anyways. I still have a couple from Lee that are coming sometime.. and pictures that Lizzie took that haven't been ordered or anything. Sigh.. too many pictures.
Yesterday.. umm, I went to classes. In between psych and CNA I registered for classes for next semester. For the rest of the time, I was in the library reading through all the stuff we needed to know for CNA. The test was alright, but when we went through it there were questions that either all or almost all of us missed and it was the way things were worded. She "threw out" three of the questions so I ended up getting a 92%. Then we went through the stuff for next week and presented our disease things. Our next test is next week.
Today I worked until 4, had musical practice until 6, and now I should be studying but.. I'm taking a moment to relax. I'm getting tired of being so busy all the time. My motivation for things is just slipping away from me and I'm trying but.. then I just loose concentration. It's not good.
So next semester should look like this:
High school:
0 hour PE
Band/Chorus
Geography

Heartland:
Mon, Wed = sociology 2:00-3:15
Tues, Thurs = nutrition 12:30-1:45
Then after classes, I will hopefully have a job at BroMenn doing something.. I think I have to be trained on a few more things before I can work there as a CNA (a.k.a. tech) so I don't really know how that works. The lady my mom talked to made it sound like what I'd be doing is kind of just office stuff and directing people where to go so.. umm.. yeah I don't know a whole lot about what's going on. I'm sure I'll find out later.
Now.. I still want to work at DQ just because it's fun and I've been there for a long time.. so maybe I could work weekends so I don't have to go to Normal any extra than I need to but.. I'd be making a couple more dollars an hour at the hospital anyways, so.. whatever.
Anyways.. study time. Maybe.
