Bajan lawn trimmings

Hmm... I'm not sure what I've done here, but my bajan seasoning looks like that goop that collects in a lawn mower. Certainly not like the pictures by the recipe. Does anyone know what this is supposed to look like?

On the plus side, this disaster may be good for me as I'm not the most adventurous person when it comes to hot sauces.
