Though I agree that the Manila police and government made A LOT of horribly stupid decisions in handling the hostage situation, I don't think it warrants the racist comments against Filipinos in general my mother keeps making whenever a report pops up in discussion or on the TV.

Not going to get into some huge fight with her over this, but I just leave the room whenever she starts up again. :/
