Today I also spent three hours at GEICO taking tests, filling out paperwork, and being interviewed for a telephone claims service rep job. (If they decide they want me, I'll have to have a medical examination and urine test.) When I came home, I found out that I could have had a one-day temp job if I hadn't been out on an interview. Figures.
So GEICO today, admin temp-to-perm interview at an architectural agency tomorrow. They have to like me, want me for a second interview, and then the boss has to like me before I get to working for them.
GEICO says to expect a decision on me in seven to ten days. McGraw-Hill last week said weeks for its decision. I'm in limbo. And thinking of applying to Target.
