Oversharing?
Oh, people are gonna hate me for sharing this....
A lot of times when I watch Ban on GetBackers (anime), I flash to Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures. Really! I think I can attribute it to the insults, arrogance, hair, and glasses. Thus, I have an idea of what Ban will look and possibly be like decades from now--if he survives his life--and shudder.
Then again, I'm the one who thinks that manga Sanzo is sometimes drawn in a way reminiscent of Edward Gorey's work--it's the darkness under the eyes I think--and am sometimes reminded of Evan Dorkin's art in the GetBackers manga.
