Doing the Happy Dance
Today I put a down payment on a new car, my first step to getting rid of The Albatross. It's a Honda Civic EX with adjustable height driver's seat to baby my bum knee, CD/cassette, moon roof with tilt, cruise control, and power mirrors, windows, and doors. Quiet, more powerful engine. It'll either be Nighthawk Black or Vintage Plum. It was more money than I would have liked to pay and The Albatross had depreciated in value to an astonishing extent (2 years and 7 months later, its value had dropped by $10,000!!), but the Civic is a bigger car with more features and hopefully less hassle. And I can kiss the Long Island City Saturn service shop goodbye. I'll have my new baby by the end of this week.
