This is a continuation of Network Effect, Murderbot Diaries #6, so it's a good idea to have that fresh in your memory to read this, because if it's not it'll take you even longer to get into this book.
I found the first 40% of System Collapse so boring that I nearly gave up on it entirely, though it picks up considerably once they
make contact with this other group of colonists they hadn't been aware of before. The action is decent once it gets going, but my overall feeling is "Meh." The one real plot-advancing element here is that Murderbot is
dealing with some PTSD and anxiety over the flashback that took it down recently.
