I had a very fruitful shoot the (early) morning of January 30th. A lot of my window photos are already up but some I haven't gotten to yet. The Lunar New Year (year of the dragon) window displays are especially vibrant and very red, and I've posted some Kleinfeld images as well. You can see them at
my Flickr. (I haven't tackled Bergdorf Goodman's Feud: Capote vs. the Swans windows yet.)
While I was shooting Lunar New Year windows at Saks Fifth Avenue at about 3:30 am, I got to see some of the removal of the
Christmas Dior's Carousel of Dreams flowers. (Lots of the flowers and parts of
the zodiac clock are already removed.) I wonder what they do with the flowers and pieces, but maybe I'm better off not knowing.
Seeing this made me feel very melancholy!
