I got a feeling I'm not the only one
With all the bad luck going on in my life right now, I've been too distracted and anxious to work on fic but I can still process and post some of my photos. My current crop includes some Valetine-colored Saks Fifth Avenue displays, a few window displays from 2019 I was reminded I shot, and some pics from Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery recently and some years-old shots from First Calvary Cemetery, the last including some somewhat dissolved old statues. LiveJournal just sent me a LJ page thing for my 22-year LJ anniversary today. Going to my LJ profile to see it, I was reminded of something DreamWidth's profile page doesn't let me do, which is list a school. On LJ, I listed my school as Lectorium Rosicrucianum - Salzburg, Austria (2002 - 2005), and it gives me a grin whenever I see it.

My Elantra behaved impeccably for the service station guys, so they still don't know for sure what's going on there. Right now they don't think it's the transmission. The car's computer is still saying nothing.

It hurts me that the local oldies radio station plays a lot of 1980s music these days, but I tell myself that it was a while ago so.... But it kills me that they're now playing many things from the early 90s too. Surely that wasn't so long ago! I was in college then!
Recently, I heard a familiar guitar bit and the words "This ain't no disco" while in my Elantra and suddenly I was behind the wheel of Topa_ and lost in Pittsburgh in 1994. I got lost driving around Pittsburgh a few times, but I was brought back to a particular gray, rainy day when I was lost for hours and that song played more than once. Though one particular episode of being lost worked out for me one time on an internship in 1995 because I was the one intern who didn't need directions to Iron City Brewery because I'd driven by it while searching for something else and remembered it. (My boss at the internship: "V, how?! You don't even drink!" Unlike the other interns. I actually had some trouble on that internship because I didn't go out drinking with the interns and people who worked at that radio station.)
