No limits on the range of questions, either: ask me anything you want to

2] I've been shooting on my own for about 15 years, so a lot of experience. I can especially see how much I've improved over the years from my early window display photos. I also take a ton of shots and then just post my favorites.
I'm not a professional because I don't self-promote well and because I'm on disability and don't want the possibility of losing my Social Security money that I worked damned hard to get to begin with, my Medicare, and my Medicaid. This country and state demand that I stay poor as hell to keep any of that. If I seem too healthy or "wealthy," I could lose my guaranteed income and all my health insurance, and with my condition I really, really need health insurance. I'd need someone really well-versed in the laws and bureaucracy to help me make sure any side gig I tried didn't destroy my life.
3] I used to write in modern fiction! The X-Files, Smallville, and Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda were airing new episodes as I wrote fic, and I got into writing due South just after the series finale when the fandom was still huge and producing a ton of commentary and fic. Weiß Kreuz was fairly new and hot when I first got into it, and Saiyuki was still running regularly when I started writing for it. I'm dying to get the fannish feels for some new, big, hot property but thus far it isn't happening.
I never got any story ideas from Harry Potter's characters and world. The MCU had so many thousands of fan writers already that I never felt like I would add anything really new and had to write for it, then it started making decisions I really disagreed with and Civil War led to some fan toxicity I didn't want to be anywhere near. Why did the creators have to make a Team Iron Man-Team Captain America schism? Some of Tony Stark's fan writers raise my blood pressure too high. Then Infinity War and Endgame killed a lot of my fannishness for the MCU completely. I don't want to spend a lot of time in a fandom that makes me sad and angry or numb.
I actually wrote some X-Men and X-Force fic off the comic books ages ago.
4] Someone I know is currently writing whom I enjoy is
