I watched Prodigal Son's season--hopefully not series--finale tonight, and this show better not end there. Fox has cockblocked me too many times with shows I loved not getting picked up for a new season and thus ending with an eternal cliffhanger.
So many ~chef's kiss~ moments. Watching it with the Discord server made it more special too.

This weekend I learned that my Elantra lets you fold the exterior mirrors inward to make them be less likely to get smacked when parked along narrow streets; my mechanics parked it that way after being unable to find whatever was making the odd noises Friday. Of course any car I own has to be Schrödinger's.
In fact, they never heard the noises at all while it was there, though I let the lead mechanic listen to the two short phone videos I recorded of them when they happened.

My current Pokémon GO Walking Buddy is an
Espurr, which is a bipedal kitty thing with tiny, stubby legs that makes it waddle and wiggle its butt when it sloooowly walks over to me to feed it, which amuses me way too much. I've never done this with a Buddy before, but I've given him the personal name of "Sweetness" and sometimes think, "C'mon, hurry it up, Sweetness!" during feedings.
A game I'm much less happy with right now is Tap Tap Fish, which has currently stalled my progress. Getting a lynchpin fish needed to get almost every other fish is dependent on winning a particular item from a "Lucky Bubble" lottery system twice. This item is often not even available and "spinning the wheel" requires resources that take time to get and replenish. I've been stuck for several days. The game wants me to spend real money on this, and I refuse. It also doesn't help that sometimes the ads you have to let play to earn other resources have often been glitching so badly lately that you have to leave the game entirely to keep going on and that of course doesn't let you earn said resource.

It is suddenly summer here--at some points it was about 84°F/29°C during the day and it's 70/21 now--and as usual I am not doing well with the temperature shift. And I don’t have my bedroom air conditioner installed yet. Meanwhile, my allergies are flaring so hard that my stomach and sometimes my teeth are burning in addition to the aching face and head.

Calling the HRA hotline let me know, thankfully via the automatic phone system instead of trying and having to get a real live human on the line, that my Medicaid renewal form arrived and was logged in before the May 10 deadline but a decision hasn't been made yet, better than them losing it in the mail system last year and me having to mail them a copy, which I make every year in case something like that happens. Supposedly they still can't take anyone off Medicaid during the pandemic but stupid things have happened. Like last year when I got a notice saying I was taken off Medicaid and it took me calling my senator's office to get someone from Medicaid to tell me definitively that it had been sent in error and I was fine.
