Back in the Saddle Again, urban edition

My first night drive/photo run in ages, this time getting into Manhattan at about 3 a.m. I shot this photo on Lexington Avenue. My new phone's camera plus the LED street lights combined to let me shoot it without needing a flash, and you can still see the texture in the street surface.

Of course, Bergdorf and Kleinfeld Bridal had all their windows shrouded, while Saks had a combination of stuff I saw before, a series featuring a style of mannequin I find really alienating and ugly, and shrouded windows. I shot some at Bloomingdale's though. I also enjoyed Van Cleef & Arpels' luminous spring flowers decorations on their exterior.

There were a few more people wandering along Fifth Avenue than I'm used to, one of which may have shouted to me twice, though he was also talking loudly on his phone or to himself before that. Since I don't answer strangers who yell in my direction during the day let alone in the dead of night.... So his shout of "bitch" may or may not have been directed at me.

++++

I looked into 7 different car insurance companies and GEICO is still the cheapest with the features I feel I need. I hated going to "auto-pay" but the savings difference was too much to ignore.

My online quote from Progressive was shady as hell. Looks great! Until you look at the smaller text beneath.
