Early
I was not expecting to get swag from the city of New York when I early voted today. An "I voted early" sticker and wristband, and a pen. NYC also gave me a pen when I voted in the primary in June.
I barely waited. In Queens. I've been seeing news stories of people in Manhattan waiting 3 to 5 hours. I brought a book in case but didn't need it. I knew my usual location wasn't open for early voting so I went to check online. Usually I vote at a high school but today I went to a place further away, an Elks lodge converted into a church, though the only interior I got to see was its basement.
Note the police car visible on the left. It was (illegally) parked there the whole time.
