Miscellaneous

Gun violence has shot up in my city in the last month and a half, to levels not seen since the mid '90s, and I'm worrying about it and not feeling as confident when out at night. My area remains fairly safe but....

My Pokémon Go app is crashing much less, making it fun to play again. Tapping on a hovering hot air balloon that looked like Meowth, I fought Jesse and James and only crashed the app twice over five battles.

I watched the whole one-season run of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! for free on Crunchyroll and enjoyed it a lot. The protagonist is endearing (though dense), and her accidental mixed-gender harem amuses me, partly because they're competitive with each other but not mean about it. They're all friends. There are stakes and things can sometimes get a bit dark, but for the most part it's rather light-hearted fun.

It's a shame I can't do the same for My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax!, which I have waited actual years for, on Crunchyroll. It's just being released now. Crunchyroll has episode one, only episode one so far, but it won't let me see anything other than a two-minute sample for free, and doing the free 14-day trial would maybe net me maybe two episodes before I'd have to pay for all the rest. It looks like I'll be waiting longer. You can comment here or at the Dreamwidth crosspost.
