Still in Medicaid Hell or, Still Shuffling Through Mercury in Retrograde

Still. Still!

I called today to see if my case had been successfully expedited as I hoped after my Friday 11/8 phone call, only to be told with total conviction by a different phone rep that it won't do a thing and I need to talk to the pooled trust division, why haven't I already talked to the pooled trust division? (Uh, I was told I didn't have to by more than one person?) My first call got me the usual "voice mailbox is full, and no attendants have been assigned to pick up phone calls so Byeeeeeee," my second try ten minutes later got a real person on the line who saw my new paperwork (that I handed in personally at the Atlantic Avenue office in person) put in the system on the 6th once I pointed all my efforts out to him. He says he'll start on it and I should call on Monday to see how it's going. Like last week when I was told the rep would try to expedite my case and I should call back in a few days? I guess I'll have to wait and see again.

I'm glad my second try got someone, because otherwise I'd have to call again tomorrow and might've gone back to the Atlantic Avenue office again.

They keep moving the goal posts on this!

My anxiety over all this got so bad today that I was physically shaking at some points.
