Set Me Off
Why did I have to find this out at 6 a.m.? It just made everything worse and now I can't sleep....
I realized--at 6 a.m., don't ask--that my car keys are missing. The last time I knew I had them I was exiting my parked car not so far from my house. I was having a very weak and woozy day and was tired, and it was dark. My purse fell to the floor of my car, but I put the keys in it after I picked it up.
I rushed outside in the dark, using my iPhone as a flashlight. The keys aren't in the car that I can see, not in the ignition or on the floor or on or under the seat. (I have a spare set of keys with a duplicate alarm remote, but there are things on the other ring I don't have duplicates for.) Not around or slightly under the car. Not in the areas I walked in to get home. Not in the foyer or on the interior stairs of my building. Nowhere. I don't know if someone picked them up; if so, they could have tried the buttons to find out what car it is, though my car does look old and beaten up so maybe they didn't think it was worth it? I don't even know. My house keys are on a separate ring. eta 7:30 a.m.: Gone outside looking again in the light, I found my keys partially hidden under some leaf cover that apparently camouflaged them in flash light. OMG.
To add to it, while outside I dropped my phone and it hit the concrete at a perfect angle to put cracks in the glass near the top and even knock out some small pieces. The worst damage is right near the button on top that you use for a lot of things. I think the cracks are lengthening even more as I use the phone, and the damage looks bad enough that I'm wondering if I need to replace the glass or at least try to cover the worst hit areas with... something.
Now I'm far too upset, stressed out, and frustrated to sleep.
I especially don't have the spoons for this right now.

eta 7:30 a.m.: The cracks on my phone screen are definitely getting worse.
