It's like the third White Tree of Gondor. This tree never has any leaves, and it's the only one of its kind in Juniper Valley Park.

It's been kind of weird to watch Aaron Stanford go from the main protagonist/Time Jesus from a post-apocalyptic world in 12 Monkeys to just a minor character guy obsessed with beer a year or more into the zombie apocalypse in Fear the Walking Dead. Fear will probably layer in more detail eventually but... weird.

Back in 2004, the US landed two rovers on Mars for a 92-(Earth)-day exploratory mission. Both exceeded their parameters.
Spirit got bogged down in soft soil in 2009 and finally stopped transmitting data in March 22, 2010. Opportunity was still transmitting until a global dust storm cut off its access to solar power in June of this year and went into hibernation mode. Hopefully,
Opportunity will resume operation (Opportunitying?) once everything clears up. NASA is giving people the option of creating encouraging and get-well-soon digital postcards for Opportunity.
About 6500 have been created so far.
Each of these rovers had a launch patch, with Spirit's featuring Marvin the Martian and Opportunity's Duck Dodgers, both shown on the wiki pages I linked above.
