Size Matters

I haven't seen Thor: Ragnarok yet but have been spoiled and reading fic since its opening weekend. (Which is how I know there seemed to be a few hundred "I'm here" fics posted to AO3 within the first few days.) There's been a lot of new Thorki created, and I saw a trend in a lot of it: painful, savage sex. Is there a thing among these authors that the only way you can truly show your love for a big-dicked man is to tell him to tear you in half with it as fast and furiously as possible? Enquiring minds want to know.

And it doesn't seem to be about the loyalty/betrayals issue or that much about Loki's masochism.
