Back Again
I brought my laptop back to the shop since it still, seemingly randomly, turns itself off, though at least now it lets me reboot afterward. At least so far. It being Friday afternoon probably means I won't see it again until Monday, assuming it is fixable and not a "Windows XP is ancient and unsupported so there's nothing we can do" situation.
My car was still in its spot when I returned. I mean, it looked legal to me but I already screwed up on that once this week and got towed.
With everything going on and my currently increased pain, I am not in a good place emotionally. It's hard to generate enough energy to get things done too.
