From Need to Consume: "
Princess Leia: The Most Important Character Ever" by Hazel Southwell
I get to see The Force Awakens Sunday morning. My internet viewing between tonight and that Sunday will be cautious.
I'm pondering whether it'll be worth it to try to get to
Light Saber Battle NYC Friday since I'll have to drive to pick my dad up from the train station and get him home, which usually takes me until about 9 p.m. to get back to my house afterward. Then a subway train ride into the city since finding parking in that part of town is very, very hard unless it's very late at night, so I have no idea when I'd arrive. Would an hour or more at the tail end, when the event may be petering out, worth it? (I have no intention of going to a club alone and paying to get in for the after-party.) Dunno.

I recently realized that when I see Captain America: Civil War, I'll have to stop pretending Age of Ultron never happened. *sigh*

I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, for the first time, on DVD today and remembered a fan conversation years ago, well before Rowling completed publishing the series, in which she argued that maybe Harry Potter was a red herring and Neville Longbottom was the one Voldemort should be concerned about. She made some very compelling points too. Good times.
