Have a Very Merry Centaur Christmas

Nov 22, 2014 04:20

While I'm still evaluating my 100 Bergdorf Goodman holiday window photos to decide what I'll 'shop and post, I decided to release nine photos of other store windows to relieve some of the pressure. *g* (And Saks will be unveiling its windows Monday night, at which point I'll also visit Bergdorf for things I felt I missed in the first run, so I have a lot of work in my future....) So for now have Massimo Dutti, Chanel, and Burberry, less fantastical displays, though I'm still wondering why Massimo Dutti's idea of Christmas includes a centaur....

I've posted the shots at my Flickr account and my deviantArt.

My apartment has hardwood floors so slippers are a must. My preferred style is velvety with beading and hard soles at a cheap price, but two pairs of those just had the bottoms come off so I hit a desperation point where I needed to buy a replacement immediately. I settled on massive comfy black "fur" ones (though they do match the black "furry" robe I end up wearing something like a cape and wrapping around my legs while seated at my computer table in the winter cold. Slippers and robe from the comfy house goth winter 2014 collection?). I feel like Sasquatch whenever I look down at my feet these days, though wearing these feels like walking on marshmallows, and they're not going to be fun during the summer heat so I'll have to get something else by then.

If anyone is interested, Amazon.com is doing their Black Friday deals week, including daily specials. The fewer people out there getting trampled in brick and mortar stores, the better, right? Besides, Amazon is spamming my inbox about it. *g*
