Wait and Not See
Monday's pituitary study MRI showed my pituitary is fine but that there's "complex inflammatory disease, with complete opacification" in my right mastoid, as there also had been in my March 2012 MRI. (It's the mystery mass I've had documented since at least 2006.) But that's fiiiiiiiine my neurologist said.
I can't help thinking that this is causing me problems though. My head pain is worst on the right side.
Nobody's interested though. Years ago the ENT tried treating it with powerful antibiotics and powerful steroids but they didn't make a dent, and I certainly took powerful steroids after my decompression/duraplasty/craniectomy/laminectomy too. Doctors also felt operating on it was too risky.
