Almost everyone who's watched Project Runway before its move to Lifetime has felt that this season was a mess. It wasn't until I went searching for Tim Gunn's reaction to the season winner that I found
a write-up of a vlog he released online then quickly deleted that sets out what chaos and stupidity has been going on behind the scenes, here specifically for the Jackie Kennedy Onassis challenge, which actually changed several times. The producers not giving him the new location address, forcing him to find it through his own resources, is just the tip of the iceberg of suck.
Tim's been publicly mouthier than usual, but it looks more and more as if a lot of that comes from the makers and judges of Project Runway wearing him down to his last nerve. I think it would take a lot to get Tim to the point of talking about "crack smoking judges." (Plus, he has a book to promote. *ahem*)
Also, someone recorded
Tim riffing at a Kate Spade event on what he thinks of winner-gate.
