Old-Fashioned
I'm annoyed that this year NY switched to scantron paper votes and a scanner. (The volunteer workers hated it too.) I miss the huge older clunky machine. It really made me feel like I was part of history of voting. When you made individual selections, you pulled a small lever that gave a loud clicking sound. My vote should always be ended with me pulling a heavy lever and hearing a solid *clunk* sound, which is so much more satisfying! That's the sound of democracy.
