Since the temperature had gone down and gotten a nice Fall feeling in the air, I took a peaceful walk through Lutheran All Faiths today. Some other photos are at my Flickr account, but here are two just for you:

No doubt it probably is hard, but interesting tidbit: I work for a daily newspaper, and one of my jobs sometimes is to do the (free, not paid) obituaries. A surprising number of people die on or near their birthday. I've only been doing this job for about 14 months, but I've noticed a lot of people often die very close to their birthday, like within two weeks either way, and I've had several die on their birthday.

It's some sort of circle of life thing. It'd be comforting if it weren't really depressing.

Maybe it's like how many people die soon after their spouse.
