Second Chances

I really like most of what Minekura does, so my meh reaction to Wild Adapter surprised me. Kubota was too Sociopath Stu for me, though the Komiya stuff kept me interested in volume 1 even despite the fact that Komiya's main role was to proclaim how wicked-cool Kubota is. Gojyo really had a short, hard life this time. Volume 2 was okay, though I was annoyed by the outsider POV that underlined how mysterious and badass Kubota and Tokito are.

I was happy that somebody had removed a copy of volume 3 from the shrinkwrap so I could browse it at the bookstore--I could never do that kind of thing myself--because 3 thoroughly bored and annoyed me, so badly that I would have been ticked off if I'd bought it and swore off buying any other parts of the series without browsing it first. I found a copy of volume 5 without the shrinkwrap and found it to be another outsider POV, this time from a neighbor kid, that underlined how mysterious and badass Kubota and Tokito are. I had no urge to buy it.

You guys know me, so do you think I'd be interested in volumes 4 or 6?
