I know that The Tick is doomed to be canceled. Aside from being so wonderfully weird, it's in a bad time period (Thursday at 8:30 on Fox) and is only being shown sporadically anyway. It's a shame, because I was dying listening to Captain Liberty and Bat Manuel trying to explain sex to the The Tick and then again as The Tick encounters a trio of male prostitutes and answers them that he is always ready for action. Arthur's terribly sweet too, a great match of actor with character, just as everyone else in this show is.
