I was having somewhat less pain over the last few days, only to have it shoot up today along with fatigue and muscle stiffness. I put a phone message in to my neurosurgeon. Yeah, let's see if that goes any differently than usual. Thus, so far it's welcome to the new year, going along just like the end of the last year. I'm heading toward the end of the third month the doctor's note gave me credit for at the job. I think it ends January 20. I should be well already.
In other news, I keep hearing that Tokyopop's Saiyuki Reload vol. 6 should be in stores but still haven't seen it yet. I have seen (and browsed-read but not bought) Hands Off! vol. 8 and La Esperança vol. 5. I'll make an entry about those two in more depth once I've bought a copy and can read more deeply and give quotes, though I'm open to people who want to talk about what they think might be going on with "the organization" and what they did to Tatsuki that night in HO! now because I see loose ends.
