Back in Belltown...
Happy New Year in the Remote wilderness of LJ! I'm still pondering how to make money, while keeping the bulk of my Inherited funds strictly in savings. Not much is going on at Present. I'm still going to visit Scandinavia this Coming summer, Barring some new barrage of Covid variants; and I'm still struggling against what I like to call the Curse of Disregard (at the moment, this is manifesting as Local weather that is either too cold or too wet for any Sane busker).
It's Friday; and here in Belltown, that means the bars and Remaining clubs will be Crowded, though not nearly as Noisy as they were in the pre-Covid era. For many years, I was Accustomed to noisy weekend nights outside our building, and I trained myself to sleep through them. Now, even with things Reopened, the noise level is way lower than it used to be, though this is partly Due to the crappy weather.
I need to stay after my brother, to get our shares of our late Mom's stock investments Divided between us. He keeps getting Busy while working from home, and forgets about tackling the stock transfer. Not that I suspect him of Unethical behavior; but he does get Preoccupied with other stuff rather frequently. Meanwhile, I need to get the last of my student loan payments off, tackle my Remaining credit-card debt, and look into Serious investment strategies.
That's about all that's going on now, though that's Enough...
