I dislike destruction as much as anyone else, but I can't share the same malice that popular opinion seems to have towards fighting. The physical thrill of it all aside (I'll admit I partake in this-- would that make me biased?), a fair battle has always seemed more honest to me than politics.

I do not comprehend, Graham-san. I am unable to see the relation of battle to honesty. They are discrete concepts.

Ah-- there's... no need for the honorific.

The way I see it, a battle holds no pretenses or need to be deceptive beyond tactics to fool the physical senses or to outlast an opponent. It may be more violent, but it's less harmful in other ways.

I am programmed for politeness to humans. However, I will discontinue its use as advised.

Thank you for explaining. This concept of the relation of battle to honesty remains puzzling to me, but as I am designed for battle, my perspective may be a hindrance.

It's just my opinion; don't let it sway you if it doesn't make sense.

Though I'm curious-- how is it that you 'learn?'

My more human functions, including learning, remain in part a mystery even to me.

I suggest that I learn by updating my saved information.

I guess that's only fair since humans don't fully understand their minds either.
