Maaan, Starbucks has been cah-razy! I am learning how tomake drinks now. It feels complicated right now because I'm learning, but I know that once I get it I'll tear it up like none other! I always make sure I pray before my shift too. It really helps. The first day i was ringing people up was REALLY hard on me though. I wasn't prepared to take orders because no one trained me about the abbreviations and which ones to call out....I was really sweatin it. I felt so incompetant and slow and stupid and annoying and a million other things. Alek said I did well but I know he is being supportive. So that night I studied my drink ID's. I could use somemore practice though.
I practiced making hot beverages today. I feel like I'm asking way too many questions although they tell me to just ask whenever I need help. I guess I have a pride thing where I need to be independent and figure it out myself. *sigh* I need skillz....That's skillz with a Z now
