Dang I know TOO many movie lines....haha Well, I turned in my application to Starbucks today. Took me a whole day and a half to fill it out! I was really trying to put thought into it and make it stand out from the rest. I even prayed over it before I turned it in. :) They told me that it usually takes a week for them to call, but I need an answer faster than that! I'm confident that I'll get a call before then. God's hand is definitely helping me out these days. Ronn has not called me yet and has probably not followed up with the interviews. I'm getting tired of waiting for him. Besides I'd rather work at Starbucks anyway.
Anyhoo, I'm watching Lost in Transalation if you haven't noticed. Today was a crazy day. Worked with Colin....Gave me a little bit of a hard time...So new policy #23478943: We will each be ranked/rated in our selling skills. My rating is a "marginal". That's bad. Do I care? No. People don't like to be bothered when they shop so I don't bother them. Simple as that. Did I mention that I'm ready to quit???? Oh, and apparently I have another review. That means another raise. That means, almost up to 8 buckaroos an hour...But I'm pretty sure Starbucks will start me at 8.
Let's see, Noah was here a few days ago! It was great! I think we have started a tradition where he comes to visit once a year, and we will drink wine on the deck in the backyard, and talk into the night. Great guy really. Merlin's childhood friend. He lives in Hawaii now..............lucky bastard..........lol
