Let's play the casting wish list game
Every once in a while I'm struck with absolutely pointless inspiration by and/or for the shows I watch, and I keep a little mental tally of people I'd like to see show up in some role or another. (And then every once in a while something happens like Mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio or Sebastian Roche getting cast on Grimm, and I do a little happy dance.)
So throwing it out there into the ether, I'd love to see...
Samantha Ferris on White Collar
Ellen Harvelle was one of the best characters to come out of Supernatural, and I'd love to see the actress again. I want her on WC as Peter's sister. (And I'm not even big on that whole "meeting family members" thing.") But on that note...
Pierce Brosnan on White Collar
I want him to play Neal's father. I heard rumblings of this, once upon a time, but I don't know if there was anything behind it. Now he's kinda the only one I can picture in the role.
Kristin Bauer van Straten on WC *or* Grimm
Pam is my god. She's such a bitch. "I don't know what it is about me that makes people think I care about their problems. Maybe I smile too much. Maybe I wear too much pink." She can be a suspect on WC, or a new Melifer queen on Grimm -- something. Anything. I just love her.
Mark Sheppard on WC (again) or Grimm
Crowley has to be Supernatural's single most entertaining villain -- at least in my book. He's one of those actors I just adore in every single thing I see him in, and his appearance in the WC pilot was no exception. I live in perpetual hope that WC will find a reason to bring back the Dutchman for just one more episode. :) As for Grimm, make him a reaper. Make him rival royalty for Renard. Make him anything you want, but get this guy on Grimm.
Matt Bomer on True Blood
does the role really matter? :D Personally, I'd vote for werewolf because of the high occurance of shapeshifter nudity, but I'd take anything. Make him LaFayette's new flame.
Juliet Landau on Grimm
Drusilla had a special brand of batshit insanity that you just had to love. JL needs to come to Portland. I'm thinking a bird-Wesen of some kind, like a raven or a swan.
