So there's a hole in my house. It was caused by a late model Corvette,
of all things. The guy drove off after asking John, "Oh, did I do
that?" But, apparently he did call the police to report the accident
after he went to the hospital. According to the police, it's only okay
to leave the scene if you've sustained bodily injury. So he has to
prove that he went straight to the hospital. I'm just amazed that it
happened when there was a gap in the traffic, since he crossed two
lanes in front of the red light to hit the house and that it happened
in broad daylight. I'm also amazed that it only went into basement. If
it had been any other kind of car, if would've gone into the living
room.
So as weird as it was, we're lucky nobody got hurt. I wish I could
upload a picture, but I don't seem to have the option...
