So this week a very fantastico voice coach named Tomoko who Kyra met in Germany is coming to Toronto. She is here to work with singers at the COC mostly but is also seeing some other people. Guess which bitch has a coaching with her? Me. So I am very excited and a bit nervous. She works with the Met and with the Munich opera and basically all these gosh-darn-it real professionals.
So I was waiting to see where my lesson would be since she hadn't booked a studio yet and I had this dream that it would be at Kyra's house which I thought was just fantastic because I am obviously used to singing there and would feel comfortable - in my environment.
So yesterday Kyra phones me and says that the studio Tomoko is using isn't available on Thursday (the day of my lesson) so she is going to see me at Kyra's house (!)
So in conclusion:
1. I am psychic
2. I will channel all my past great voice lessons in Kyra's house and bring them out for my coaching
3. I will still pee my pants
