Woke up this morning and something seemed a bit off. Especially when I went outside for my morning cigarette. When I came back in I realized Katie wasn't sitting by the door meowing and looking out as she normally does. I looked all over the apartment to see if she was asleep somewhere or had accidentally gotten stuck in a cabinet or closet. Unfortunately, no luck. It seems as though she's gone. It's a good possibility she's run off. I've checked outside, inside, and nothing. I can't help but be a bit depressed about this, I don't think it's quite hit me yet. She was only here a short time, but I did get really attached to that little ball of fiesty cuteness. She and Bruce got along well together and if she's gone I'm sure he'll be a bit out of sorts for a couple days. Hope she's safe and if she does turn up she's not knocked up.
