I know I'm posting a lot, buuut...
I just redid all my paperwork, as in double-checked the entire script for all notes, reformatted all of the paperwork, and even set up charts and things I don't need until tech.
The sun is starting to come out, but it still looks stormy and it's getting windier!
After talking to Elise (the other SM apprentice), it looks like I'm way ahead of the game - she's read the script, but hasn't done any paperwork. Hmm. Did I get ahead of myself? Did I need to spend all that time filling out forms and preparing for the first rehearsal? Either way, my prompt book looks really organized and complete (already) so maybe I can use it as part of my portfolio. Looks like Elise is taking a nap on the cusions beneath the windows. (I'll put up pictures of the Theater House soon so you'll know what I'm talking about.) Dinner is in a couple hours, so I'll probably head back to the house after I eat. (I think Elise is living at the same house, so I'll probably drive her back too - I don't think she has a car here.) Oh! For brunch I ate a turkey sandwich, and I heard that we're having a roast turkey ("with all the fixings") for dinner. Sounds yummy, but my belly is still not great. Hmm.
Just overheard that 18 of the people here went on a white-water raftig trip on the Shenandoah. Not for me, but good to know there's options for activites off the property.
This place is amazing. The more I look around, the more I realize how beautiful the place is.
I'm going on a hunt for a snack now - I only ate half my sandwich earlier, so I should have something. Eh.
