I'm writing Bush/Koizumi. Well, I was until I decided that I should sleep and get mentally prepared for the end of the world France's defeat at the hands of Brazil later this afternoon.
It broke my brain. flourish_leslie, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT.
Dammit can Brazil just lose? They don't need a sixth World Cup, really. It would be like the Yankees winning the World Series again.

ETA: All right, I really was going to bed until I discovered the attention whore-ish prick that is Jean-Marie Le Pen shooting off his mouth again, this time bemoaning that "real" French citizens might not be able to identify with a national football team that has a disproportionate amount of "players of colour."
That, however, must be a paltry concern compared to those 10,000-ish celebrators that poured out into the streets of Paris after beating Spain and showered Zinedine Zidane with the epithets of "President of the Republic" and "Our Father." God forbid that any upstanding European country should have a role model that's half-Arab! :o!
