Back to the days when we were so young
So yesterday was the auditions for the Kpop talent show. I am ABSOLUTELY thankful that I went. God, it's by far the best talent show I've ever been to - partly due to the awesometastic company as well.
If anyone ever doubts that there's not a market for Kpop...aish. You should have been there man - most people were there for the show itself - after the show? 90% of the mall left and I kid you not. The place was like a ghost town within minutes. I was there from 11plus in the morning, thinking that the auditions will start at 11. Who knew it'll start at 1?
In any case, had this fantastic beef ball noodles - but I think the one at the Changi Airport T2 staff canteen beats most others. Afterwards, Tin and I met Faana, Mus and the rest of the de'blaze members. The VIPs came out in full force and so were the Wonderfuls, most of whom were contestants. XD
Of course, being a fanboy (and the fact that it's Kpop), let's just say if there was #1 Supporter, Tin and I would have shared the title. Rofl. Seriously, it was just fantastic, bopping our heads, grooving our butts off and singing along to familiar songs like You Are The One (Super Junior), Purple Line (DBSK), Balloons (DBSK), Nobody (Wonder Girls) and Into the New World (STD - what? I still don't like them.)
And no Mus (in case you're reading this), I am NOT a closet STD fanboy. I don't like STD - only Sooyoong (and that was after a very very very long time).
One of the major highlights was dancing to Nobody with the Korean students and being the general centre of attention (although it's more...off-centre, closer towards the right). I got the feeling that we kinda scared off some people so we had more space in general. XD Seriously, I lost count of the number of times the photog and the camera man came around to our side. So people and attention whores, please do remember to have fun - people will take notice! But it was rather annoying after a while but fun nevertheless.
Hmm...oh yes. Supposedly we'll be on SBS! Of course the fab DeBlaze will take centre stage but I was there! :P
The 67 acts were all great, some admittedly far better than the others. Pity only 16 made it through to the semis - I thought that they should have made it top 20 instead. Sadly, DeBlaze didn't get through but my god, did they show the crowd how to have fun. :)
Of course, after letting my hair down, I've developed a painful sore throat. Aish. I'd better lug around a large bottle of water and scout for clappers for next week!

And finally...one of my favourite acts - Singapore's very own Sung Si Kyung - BERNIE!!! 8D I'll to make it for the semis just to catch this guy. But so going for the finals, even IF Lee An's going to sing. ( I just don't like the Lee An guy's songs at all kay?)
So after that much excitement, I finally had the freshly-made spicy korean rice cakes. Oh god, so darn hot but so damn good...
So now, I've gotta book for my medical check up and shit like that. Bleh. And I haven't told my parents that I'm going out for dinner later. XD
