Help Daniel Buy a New Bike
Well, since someone decided to steal my bicycle, I've decided to try something new.
When I asked you all to step up and donate money to buy Jasmine a new bicycle for her birthday, we managed to raise $182! Now she's got a shiny new bike.
I know you don't love me as much as Jasmine, but I'm hoping I can pull the same schtick for myself.
This Saturday (August 2d), I'm having a "Help Daniel Buy a New Bike" Party at my place.
The same general rules apply. No underage drinking. Bring a bottle of booze, a six pack, mixers or a snack. This time, if you could also find it in your heart (or your wallet) to throw a couple of bucks my way, I'll love you forever!
That's pretty much it. You don't have to donate, but I'm going to be missing my bike something horrible this week.
I'm having the worst week in a while. My pay has fallen down to about $500 (from $1400), my bike was stolen, Lynne's bike is missing a seat, and generally, lots of crap needs done and I can't take care of most of it.
Help restore my faith in humanity.
