Kyle XY: S02 EP19
I was a recent convert to this show back when ABCFam had a lot of eps on their website for viewing (way back when I could actually watch ABC stuff!). I kind of lost interest for a bit until they introduced Jessi - woot. I'm really into watching Jessi and sadly I'm a closet K/J fan too :x This week's episode had a touch of Jessi angst, Josh/Andy angsting finally getting somewhat resolved (thank goodness), some humorous new possible love interest for Lori (woo! Cute college guy!), and of course Kyle coming to save the day. The new 'interest' Kyle has in using his powers for good *cue Superman music* will be fun to watch especially considering the price he may pay. I love the insertion of the zen-psychic-nosebleed moment. :)

Terminator SCC: S01 EP06
Wow. TSCC is actually becoming one of my omg-I-must-watch shows lately. The introduction of John's uncle Derek allowed to the show to do flashforwards to the future depicting more of the machine domination. It's also allowing for a nice setup of an antagonistic relationship towards John for Derek since he is unaware of their relation-something of which John is all too cognizant. The revelation that Derek did indeed shoot Andy Goode was not a total surprise but definitely an important clue to the trials to come regarding his induction to this ragtag group. As Cameron is one of my favorite characters (Oh Summer Glau, how do I love thee) despite her sudden backtracks and character reversals, I was intrigued by her presence in the future which contrasts with her almost sympathetic protection of the terminator's microchip. Perhaps she is becoming aware of the value of life? The destruction of the chip would completely destroy the being that the terminator was; has she slowly become aware of the value of such a thing so like her.

Nip/Tuck: S05 Season Finale (EP14)
Decent with some great moments but so many cliched stories and scenes that I almost wanted to switch back to Jericho. The actress portraying Sean's daughter needs to be shot; she was especially horrible in this episode. Sean apparently is having the week from hell: his ex-wife is shot then comatose then an amnesiac, his son is sleeping with a half-sister, crazy Colleen mega-stalking and leaving dead bodies in his house, paparazzi stalking, Christian & his daughter getting into a car accident, his daughter requiring his surgical expertise, and finally getting stabbed by Crazy Colleen. I think someone needs to move back to FL! ;p I was discussing the season with a co-worker who watches and this season, while it had some absolutely hilarious moments which last season lacked, it was really short both in length and 'feel.' Some of the storylines were rushed such as Colleen. It was obvious that the episode would end with something with her after she appeared so hot-n-heavy in this ep after being completely MIA and not mentioned in the last one which was right after her wrist slashing! But dang, I want more buildup than just one episode of ZOMG Crazy Colleen. Meh. I still highly enjoyed the episode as I watched, but they have had better season enders.

Jericho: S01 EP05
I've been recently starting on Jericho. Scifi Chan is now airing the first season on Mondays and right now it's in a perfect timeslot. My biggest question is -- how the heck did I miss watching this show? It's awesome! I've always been fond of post-apocalyptic movies but the series format of this is much more helpful as we are greeted with the more realistic day-to-day needs of a community when the world is basically gone. I'm enjoying the internal mysteries at the moment; what did Jake do, what's with Hawkins and his websurfing, will Eric ever break it off with April...Season 2 is airing on CBS now, but what I glimpsed of the second episode made me realize I have to start from Season 1. Way too many things happened apparently 0_0
