Pre-reading Notes:
The Question of Nobuta was originally written as a birthday gift for my friend muu_chan. It was started over a year ago, and I quickly realized that despite my speed-writing skills, this story was going to far more complicated than I could write in about two weeks. I therefore put it on hold, wrote The Progression of Familiarity, and continued working on the story slowly but surely.
The Question of Nobuta is about 25000 words long, with each chapter's word-count at approximately 5000 words. It is a science-fiction AU crossing Johnny's and Associates with Jdrama Nobuta wo Produce. This is actually the same world as my je_holiday 2010 fic, Virtual Reality, which takes place several years before this story; there is little overlap, and both stories stand separately on their own.
The Question of Nobuta was designed to be read one week at a time, with each chapter being read one week later. This is because of how the story is set up, with each chapter occurring over a week. This story is complete, edited, and will not change over the five weeks of posting with the exception of spelling, and grammar fixes. There is a post completion meta that will be posted with the final chapter, which will describe in depth my thought process for this story in case anybody is interested in that sort of thing: (I find post-completion meta [and pre-completion meta] absolutely fascinating, but that's just my point of view.)
