And now for another legendary Update! =D

May 10, 2006 19:11

Okee dokee so,

The last time I left you guys a wayyy long time ago The play was about to begin so now

Thursday night (opening night)
Went off pretty Darn well. Except there were bats apparently. LOL. I had no clue until after the show. What we forgot to put in the program was that the bats forgot their mocking bird costmes =P the show pretty much went off without a hitch aside from our new cast members =P

Friday night (closing night)

Oy, Aside from my own personal drama, things were just not going well, The audience couldn't tell but I almost missed my cues, I slipped off the stage on my way out, I thought I recovered ok but still I made a very serious moment funny =P...

Saturday night (Closing night)
I think this was probably our best night, I think everyone got there lines almost perfect, except for atticus and one small like scout missed (which she absolutely never does it surprised me.

Anyhoo I think we were all just very relaxed with the skript at this time So it was alot of fun

(The After party)
Woo hoo!
Ok So we usually go to TGI Fridays after closing night because it's like the only other place open other than dennys and the food is better =P

So anyhoo We get there and we just wanna chill, unwind and have some fun. So myself being the recent lush I am, and my Stage manager a fellow lush walked on over to the bar and really started the night. We were each others drinking buddies for the night working off of each other drink for drink LOL, lets look at the line up

Shot of Jager
Mixed drink
Shot of Jager
Pina Colada(TGIF style)
Shot of Jager
another mixed drink
and to end the night
a shot of Jager

My Stage manager was very generous and bought me the drinks and holy crap was that a bill
but man were we fucked up LOL it was funny I thought. If you have seen me when I'm drunk then you know how affectionate I get. SO I was loving everyone! I was making my rounds giving out hugs etc LOL. No worries folks I drank some water and waited till I sobered up to drive home. Hehe, what a night

Ok sooooo The first order of bussiness after the play was to get rid of the puppy growing on my face
[WARNING:This next image may be gross to you if you don't like to see hair]

Yup that is the hair that came off of my face, not very impressive for most, but that took me about 4 months to grow and believe it or not that was a lot of hair for me LOL. My beard grows real slow, which I'm pretty happy about. Anyhoo The second picture as you can see if my in the 80s =P... ok ok maybe not, but I was kinda rocking the mullet there =P

So after another week of a ton of school IT was off to the races!!!
That's right Feathers and I got two tickets to Go to the AMA Superbike Races at California Speed way.

So I took the day off and we got there early to watch the qualifying rounds. But there was so much to do and see before we even got to the track. We got to the Gate to park (We were let onto the infield to park oh yeah ;D) and I took off my gloves to get out our parking passes, well I didn't put my gloves back on I just put them on the triple trees hoping they would stay if I went slow... well apparantly feathers ran over a red glove ... yup it was mine. so I went back and got it and then we finally parked. We were parked right next to the super moto garages it was pretty kewl, there were sooooooo many bikes. The Parking lot was a who's who of bikes and an attraction all on its own. MV, Aprilla, BMW, All japanese bikes, Ducati, Just lots and lots of nice bikes =D
and of course I had to take a picture of a couple which caught my eye. Besides the nice aprillas and beautiful MVs There were a few which really stood out, like ...

Hey Look kiyofox was there in in spirit =), it's really too bad he couldn't make it, it was fun

There were the garages to look at, an expo area with plenty of goodies to buy and fun stuff to do, including the Playstation tent previewing what else but Tourist Trophythat was a lot of fun! sooo going to pick that up as soon as I get some cash =D

Anyhoo on to the bikes again

Ok, There are few bikes which have had the personality this bike has. This bike had the title of "Silverbullet", and it had definately seen better days, As you can see there was not much in the way of Mirrors. The Ferring was being held together by duct tape. Yeah it definately looked like a fun bike LOL

Another amusing bike (and catwoman69y2ks favorite> The leapord spotter cruiser. This was a niiiice bike, it had a sound system and just loooked plain enjoyable to ride =D

Anyhoo on to the races

you know I was out in the garages and It just never occured to me to get my camera out. So this was the only picture of a racer I got, and if I hadn't had killed my digicam I would have even better quality pictures.

So a really kewl feature of the Saturday race was the "FAN LAP" As fun as this was I put this in quotes because it was more like a fan 3/4 of a lap.

Staging area

Feathers and I ready to go!

Yeah it was kewl to get on the track, I wish we would have had one more lap to really take the track out for some fun I was very conservative when I went around. Apparantly everyone else felt the same way I did, the main question when we got back was "Wait was that it do we get another lap?" LOL I guess not, Still it was awsome

and of course the Finish line

I forget which Suzuki Racer Won, but he did a wheelie across the finish line... nice! =D

So aside from the Super bike and Super Moto Races Like I said there was the Expo, and I was >This< close signing up for the HRCA it was $40 which I didn't really have at the moment and it came with like roadside assistance and would pay for $75 of an advanced riders course. This could very well be worth it =D, I may still sign up for it, hopefully in time for their next event. We also saw the trick bikes which are always a joy to see, hand stands, wheelies stoppies, what more could you ask for ?=).

Also I got to Test drive an FZ6. I really wanted to try out the FZ1 but they were already taken. Apparantly there was a Yamaha dealership there letting people test out their bikes, all except the R1 and R6 of course, This was an adventure all on it's own

So I hop on the FZ6, Definately a change from my CBR 600's riding position, and we take off ok feeling good, then we get to our first stop sign.So I think I shift down and well, I guess I didn't. This resulted in me stalling a couple of times, and hearing the guytrailing us say "GOOOO!!!!!!!" so I think I took off in like 2nd gear... veeeeery slowly. eventually I catch up. we hop on the freeway and we are a bit behind in traffic, so the catch up run began, so I'm flying on the 15 at about 90mph on a bike I've never been on before. it was ok, but I sadly was not impressed, the riding position was nice, but the pep of the engine was not too much faster than my bike, and the seat was pretty uncomfortable even for this short little ride, I really wish I could have gotten a chance to try out the FZ1 but alas. it was still nice to try out a nice smooth new bike I can see why Rex was so confident in the turns. That was definately fun. Feather got to try out a warrier which Lol, he said he enjoyed very much except for the heating up of his calf due to the position of th emuffler. still the Warrier is a very nice bike! =)

So this last weekend was jam packed

Friday, I get off of work at 7, got to a family get together, run to con for the night, then I stay at con for 2s' rant the cabaret etc, then head home at 2am Saturday night to wake upsunday morning at 8am to pick up Ladonna to go to my mom's Wedding, to come back, to fall asleep to go to school monday morning to go to disneyland after that *pantpantpant*

Yeah it was a fun weekend. The con was, well what can you say about it, it was lax, it was calming. 2s' rant was funny as usual. it's our own personal relaxacon it's nice, It's good to see friends chit chat, and have some cherry coke. Disney was fun, went with the family. As intense as the weekend was it was still very calming and nice.

So my life has been, busy but monotonous. Strange but true. As always if you would like to go for a ride or just hang out, drop me a line let me know I'll see when i can make time to get to your area, weekday nights are usually good for me... esp Monday and wednesday nights.

I hope everyone is doing well! Love! ^_^
