For someone who's never actually seen Christmas with his own eyes before, all the...cheer is a little overwhelming for Alex. He's got the memories of over a thousand people, give or take, and all of them have memories of Christmas - especially seeing as most of them were Marines. Hell, even Dr Mercer PhD has memories, not all good, but...
...He doesn't.
So he's retreated to the library, where it's quiet and he can hide and try and get his head around all the Christmassy stuff. There's a part of him that wants to be excited, because damnit it's Christmas, but mostly he's cautious, wary, and doesn't see why he should be celebrating something that has nothing to do with him.
Currently he's eyeing the various bits of poisonous herb that have mysteriously appeared. He knows what it's for, alright, and he's wondering if there's anything about this place that could get any weirder.
