▐ ELABORATE
჻ HISTORY I think the link provided does give a very in depth analysis of Wesker as a whole, but I would like to point out that he did have a strong connection with William Birkin; it was really Birkin whom he grew a sort of bond with, and there have been official reports related to Wesker that speak of Birkin in a high light. It was obvious that Birkin was more advanced than Wesker in the biological department and Wesker had no qualms in expressing that in some of his more official reports. I suppose calling them "friends" is a stretch of it, but it is the only truly friendly relationship that Wesker has ever been tangled up in.
჻ PERSONALITY Wesker is a chilly fellow that has been molded into a perfect example of a megalomaniac with a total disconnect with the world. The man is nothing but stoned face, less one interests him. He seems completely incapable of really connecting with people on a personal level anymore. The only one who ever had a glimpse into the life of Albert Wesker was a brilliant scientist known as William Birkin. Other than that, Wesker has had no one he would likely call a "friend." Close associate or soon-to-be-assassinated-tool would be more precise when it comes to his current bouts of interactions.

Albert is a highly intellectual man, pushing the barriers of genius level. The man knows how to manipulate both the biological make-up of things, as well as people themselves. He is very good at getting people to trust him, and he is even better at turning the tables away from him to direct attention elsewhere. His smooth and calculating personality make for a deadly man. And he would really have it no other way.

By the time the end of his story comes to a close, it is obvious that Wesker is a little bit desperate. In quick flashes we receive near the end of his time, his temper and more volatile nature do tend to bleed through the icy exterior. He practically gives in the towel by the end of Resident Evil 5, showing that he really has nothing left to lose. Thus, he becomes more and more violent. Which is not to say that Wesker is not a violent man by nature, but when his head is more clear and that rage is more controlled, he is a very precise killer, instead of being wild and rampant while boasting about his ability to change the world for the better.

While Wesker does have the personality of a serial killer, he does seem to have a better grip on reality, at least in everything pre-RE5. He does have a strong knack of planning things far in advance, to the point that almost every given scenario seems to be planned out and exacted. He studies people, understands how they work through infiltration, then turns on them and takes the proverbial goods he can grab. For the most part, he is not a man interested in money or hype - he is a man that is interested in furthering himself, his research, and the the expansion of the human race into something better. It could be that by the time RE5 does roll about, revelations about him could have finally brought him to some sort of breaking point. But that does not seem entirely the case.

⌦ nuadoria specific
▐ WHAT ARE THEY BRINGING TO NUADORIA?: Clothes of his back, a cell phone, a couple of his mystery shots, magnum, and the Oroboros that is kickin' about inside him.
▐ YOUR CHARACTER'S ELEMENT: Darkness
▐ WHAT IS THEIR GESTALT?: Panther | Pestilence Horse (not the exact horse from the Apocalypse, but a similar concept. Wesker has been dealing in disease for most of his life, and since he is infected himself (with God knows what), I thought this would be a neat concept.)
▐ HOW WILL THIS CHARACTER FIT INTO THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE GAME?: Wesker is very much a double-dealer; he will probably start out offering his services as a doctor, though it is very likely that he will be taking extra samples from those he treats. With a plethora of species to examine, it is likely that Wesker will keep up the good guy act for a while, albeit a little cold. Behind closed doors, he will be looking for ways to enhance his time here in Nuadoria - most likely, he will be trying to cut deals left and right in order to further personal goals.

OPTION I

OPTION II
✔ THIRD PERSON SAMPLE: Being burned alive was not as painful as he had theorized. The hot stink of burning flesh had left his senses numb; to be truthful, it felt like a cold sting was rising up his spine now. The lava that had started to consume him was nothing more than a dull ache in the parts of him that had been eaten away by the element. Wesker sneered - he should have figured his ending would come to something like this, though no one would have hypothesized that he would end up smoldering in a pit of a volcano half-way down the African continent. Such was life, he supposed. It was full of surprises.

He opened his eyes and darkness pooled about him; he closed them again. Bitter was the feeling in his chest, an empty nothingness. Everything was gone, the whole world he had created was no more. And it was sickening to think that he was beaten by Redfield, finally taken down like the villain that he was. How cliche.

Wesker opened his eyes and there he felt a jolt in his chest. "Don't bother trying to reanimate yourself, foolish thing." His thoughts succumbed him to his defeat; there was no getting out of this one, no planning for it either. Albert's teeth set angrily.

Another jolt and he hissed; he could feel the pain again, rising up and up, and -

    - hands first, he felt something solid. Knees felt dry earth beneath him and the moisture in his nostrils suggested that he was somewhere new. Albert opened his eyes, and sunglasses darkened the area before him. He canted his head, frown cut into his features like it was permanent. His palms spread out before him and for a moment, his rational brain tried to make an excuse. He scoffed.

"Well," and his voice sounded just the same as before.

Wesker tested himself, prodded his body with that scientific mind of his. He got to his feet, albeit a bit wobbly at first. Booted heels found cobblestone in no time.

    He did not smile.

"-how very interesting," was his only response.

✔ FIRST PERSON SAMPLE: (Reaction to Nuadoria)
VOICE; [There is no pause on the other line.] You will have to excuse this broadcast - it appears I am no longer in what you would consider to be "home." I have questions, though the likely hood of them being answered seems slim. I will ask only this: are there any souls living here, or should I mark this all down as disillusion circumstances?

[Another pause, a clicking sound. Wesker makes a small noise in the back of his throat.] Interesting.
