Chapter 1 of Hyperion Rising is sitting at 2300 words, and I just finished the Elvoret fight, so that's about halfway, I think? Gonna try and get this thing posted to moogle_workshop before midnight tonight, so we'll see if I actually make it to the ballroom scene, or if I cut it a little short.

I recommend books to people when they ask/we're talking about books already. I don't think I would force everyone to read any one book, just because different people have very different tastes, but if I had to pick...probably either Good Omens or Neverwhere (both Neil Gaiman).
