(no subject)
Well this semester is finally over. i'm happy for the fact that i will prolly never have a class with estela moreno mazzoli again but i'm also sad because i might not ever see my students again nor beckie although i plan on visting her alot. first things first, monday was bittersweet. i was so proud of the way my students have improved and they really seemed to enjoy me and i did them. they brought delicious food and i brought my homemade carside to go from applebees...lol. i got their addresses so now i will at least be able to keep in touch with them via mail and maybe send them a x-mas card. i really enjoyed having beckie as a teacher too. i just got back from a nice dinner at her house with some of the other teachers and finally got to see kelly and listen to brenda and linda bicker...lol. the whole experience was just something so awesome and i prolly will never enjoy school as much as did with these people.
On the flip side the rest of the semester pretty much sucked. spanish blew just for the fact that i didn't enjoy reading so much stuff. imagine if i actually read all the stories. i really am angry though for putting in so much effort and not getting really anything out of it. i don't think i'm ever going to be a good spanish speaker. oh well! and my other class was ok and at least i'm done with science forever!!! now who knows what next semester is going to bring but i hope i like the classes better and maybe meet some cool people like i did this semester. i got to get to know more ronisha and megan and of course almost all the ESL teachers and monica. my goal this break is to rekindle friendships with people i've sorta lost contact with like suzanne and kelly and have an awesome time with my cruise group.
oh and if anyone cares, at work we had our yearly review and we did fuckin sweet surprisingly. 96% in quality 96% in service and 98% in cleanliness. i'm amazed but i gotta give credit to mary for getting through it cuz i thought we were going to have to get shut down cuz we would've done sooooo bad...lol. i think it kinda proves though how inaccurate these reviews our because no way is our store that good. hey i'm just being realistic. anyways that's all for now. does anyone want to go shopping maybe monday or tuesday afternoon with me for x-mas gifts. i don't wanna go alone!!! call me
