Parkinson's Law: "Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion."

Hofstadter's Law: "It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take Hofstadter's Law into account."

Douglas Deadlines: "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."

PS: Is this the first use of the phrase "Douglas Deadlines" to refer to deadlines that whoosh by?
