strange deadline

This past month, I have been running after a peculiar deadline. What is peculiar about this one is that it is running away from me rather than running towards me! So here is how it has gone:

• March 20: Abstract submission. Met.
• March 27: Paper submission. Postponed.
• April 03: Paper submission. Ditched for the better.
• April 10: Paper submission. Postponed.
• April 17: Paper submission. Is today, and I intend to meet it!

The last five weeks have been ultra-crazy. Many things have been on hold. Missed solzaire's farewell, which I so wanted to be a part of. Barely managed to squeeze in a couple of valfis. Have been mostly unaware of what the world has been up to. From what I hear, a lot has gone down during my hiatus from the world. So apologies for being missing for so long. Need to catch-up after today's submission, and also start last-mile preparations for the trek!

For now, back to kaagaz likhai.
